Welcome to My Personal Page
In my third year of Miles for Moffitt, I am setting my goal higher. As a team our achievement at $20,200,in 2016 was amazing. I am certain I have said thank you to all, but really you just cannot say it enough. Since Miles 2016, I have completed treatment and remain cancer free. I am VERY fortunate. Last year Moffitt treated 18,000+ new patients and performed 346,471 outpatient visits. I could go on an on about statistics and how I feel about my tretment team, THE BEST. But the most important fact is that Moffitt is one of only 45 National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive care centers and ranked #6 in the nation. That is why Miles for Moffitt, they are leaders in innovation and patient care.
I am up to walking 3.5 miles now that our Florida weather is cooler. I intend to fully participate in the event. I am including a couple of links, one is a newspaper story on me and Miles for Moffitt. The second is my speech from last year; I was asked to do the survivors speech. All the people on stage with me and standing in front of me were either survivors or researchers.
I am asking for your help again this year to raise money that contributes to the prevention and cure of cancer.
